It is known that one method for the synthesis of Ethylhexylglycerin is via catalytic splitting of ethyl hexyl glycidyl ethers, followed by the addition of water. The product can then be purified by vacuum distillation.

3. Application

Used together with liquid epoxy resin to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin, and enhance the flexible, suitable for casting material of electrical equipment of winding-forming, floor material, concrete repairing material, filling material, vis breaking for adhesives.

The features of application: excellent wet-keeping, low volatility.

4. Packing

- Packed in 20 kg/barrel or 200 kg/barrel or 1000kgs/ IBC container

- Storage and transportation must conform to basic requirements of normal chemicals.

- Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area. Keep away from ignition sources, heat and flame and sunlight.

- It is necessary to maintain insulated (tightly seal) after use, in order to avoid negative influence arousing from moisture absorption.
